Ryan Shawcross admits he would love to be back in action for Stoke City this weekend.
The Potters captain has been sidelined for the past six matches with an inflamed disc in his back but is eyeing the trip to West Bromwich Albion in order to come up against former boss Tony Pulis.
"Tony bought me, so he has to take a lot of credit," Shawcross told the Stoke Sentinel.
"I was quite a risky signing because I was an unknown.
"Obviously Tony did a lot for me and I appreciate what he did for me in my career, but the most important thing is the three points and everything has to be put to the side because we are desperate to win."
