Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua have confirmed the signing of Luis Carlos Ruiz.
The 27-year old Colombian striker has departed homeland club Junior to link up with Shenhua who finished eighth in the Chinese top flight in 2013.
Barranquilla-born Ruiz started his career with Categoria Primera B side Barranquilla FC in 2007 before moving to top flight Junior in 2008.

It had been reported in December that Ruiz had joined Azerbaijani side Neftchi but he later denied the move, revealing that hackers had posted the news on his Twitter account.
