Shandong Leuneng attacker Maoruane Fellaini has spoken of his admiration for Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho.

Fellaini has this week been linked to a return with his former Manchester United manager.

“Jose is special for me," said Fellaini. "We text each other, we call each other from time to time.

"He's taken over Spurs and he's doing well. I wish him all the best. But I am good where I am now."

The Mirror says although Fellaini has insisted he is settled at Shandong Luneng, his remarks nevertheless leave open the possibility that he could be persuaded to return to the Premier League if Mourinho were to turn on the charm.
