Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano continues to talk up the prospect of joining AS Roma.
Adriano says moving to Roma is a possibility this week.
"I am very happy to be attracting interest from so many important clubs, but this is happening purely thanks to Shakhtar Donetsk, who gave me the opportunity to become known on the international stage.
"I have been in Ukraine for eight years and still have a year left on my contract. I intend to honour it and, if I were to leave, it would only be if an offer arrived that was good for me and the club. I am very grateful to Shakhtar for all they've done for me.
"I heard many rumours of interest from Italian teams, but so far I have not received any proposals. I am very happy that my style of play is appreciated. Roma are a great team with a long tradition behind them. It is an honour to be of interest to them.
"Serie A is very difficult and competitive, so every player would love to go there. Without doubt Italy is one of the countries I'd love to play in.
"However, for this to happen, it is necessary that the conditions are very good for me and for Shakhtar."
