Sevilla are set to beat West Ham to the signing of Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan.

EITB says the midfielder will be Monchi's second summer signing after the arrival of Diego Carlos from Nantes earlier in the summer.

Eibar have accepted Sevilla's latest bid of around 12 million euros even if it is lower than they'd originally wanted for Jordan.

Despite interest from Premier League clubs, the player has his heart set on a move to the Estadio Roman Sanchez Pizjuan.
