Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido is backing coach Juande Ramos, despite a third consecutive defeat at home to Espanyol on Tuesday night.

Marca says Del Nido will only dismiss Ramos as a last resort as he has a policy of not changing coaches in midseason. Indeed, the president remains convinced Sevilla now boast the greatest team in their history and he has told friends he has total confidence in the work of Ramos and sports director Monchi.
