Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj admits they were pleased after their 2-2 draw at Europa League opponents Manchester United.

The quarterfinal tie is now in the balance with the return-leg staged in Spain.

Gudelj said: "In the end we go home with very good feelings. In the second half, from around 50-60 minutes, we sensed United losing a bit of strength and ourselves growing into the game with more control in the area, more crosses and chances, and two good goals and opportunities to win it.

"We showed too much respect to United in the first 20 minutes. Then we pressed a bit more and we moved higher. We're a very good team when we play with confidence, when we get the ball out wide, crosses in and players arriving from midfield areas along with the strikers.

"When it's like that, no team is too big for Sevilla."
