On-loan Portsmouth forward Paul McCallum has been banned for seven matches after his furious reaction to being sent off against Southend, reports BBC Sport. The West Ham youngster was dismissed for violent conduct amid a 2-1 defeat.
The 21-year-old then appeared to raise a hand to referee Lee Collins and had to be dragged away from the confrontation by team-mates.
He received a three-match ban for the red card, with the additional four matches imposed for his reaction.
McCallum, who pleaded guilty to the charge, joined Pompey on loan until the end of the season and was making his second appearance from the bench.
