Serie A clubs suddenly queue for Man Utd outcast Alexis

Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez is prepared to return to Italy this month.

The Mirror says he would like to return to Serie A and enjoyed five successful years with Udinese before joining Barcelona for £30million in 2011.

Sanchez scored 12 Serie A goals in his final campaign with Udinese and is still respected in Italy, where the transfer window remains open until September 2.

Roma have cooled their interest after being keen on the South American and it is understood he was not happy with their offer.

Sanchez's agent Fernando Felicevich met Juventus officials in May and the Italian champions, together with Napoli, AC Milan and Inter Milan, would consider signing him on loan.
