Sergio Ramos admits Real Madrid were affected by fatigue for their 2-2 draw with Espanyol.

The defender said: "Maybe we were a bit tired, but that is no excuse because there were many rotations for the starting XI, as in recent games.

"We are not robots, not machines, and despite the rotations there may have been fatigue."

On two-goal Raul, Ramos added: "For us, his performances were never in doubt. He will be the same this season as his has been in the past."
