Marcos Senna admits Villarreal's players are "growing tired" of the drawn-out transfer of Juan Roman Riquelme away from the club.

The Argentine trained on his own on Saturday as talks continued between Villarreal and Boca Juniors over a fee for the midfielder.

Spain international Senna said: "The fact is we have won plenty without Riquelme and are now playing well.

"He is a subject that we're already a little tired with and we want to forget it."
