Steve Zakuani will have an MRI scan on his hip which he injured in a pre-season friendly with MLS Cup winners Colorado Rapids on Wednesday.

The talented 23-year old attacker was schedule to have the scan on Thursday and the Sounders will be hoping for positive results following his stellar season in 2010.

In other Sounders injury news, 25-year old midfielder Brad Evans is likely to miss around three weeks ith a hamstring strain, suffered in the same game.
