Seattle Sounders forward Steve Zakuani is delighted for his new teammate Blaise Nkufo.

Nkufo, who signed with the Sounders earlier this year from Dutch club FC Twente, was a key member of the Switzerland team that caused a shock upset of World Cup favourites Spain on Wednesday and Zakuani was happy for his soon-to-be striker partner.

'Spain's passing was ridiculous at times but Switzerland defended unbelievably well! Happy to see my future teammate Blaise Nkufo get a win!,' he wrote on his Twitter page.

Nkufo will link up with the Sounders following his duties with the Swiss national team after the World Cup.
