Seattle Sounders make lucrative homegrown offer to new USA hero Morris

Reports suggest that the Seattle Sounders have made an attractive offer to talented forward Jordan Morris.

The 20-year old Stanford University sophomore, who scored his first goal for the USA national team against Mexico last week, is a firm target for the Sounders.

SI.com's Grant Wahl suggests that Seattle have made a proposal to Morris which is one of the 'most lucrative offers ever for an MLS homegrown player'.

It is expected that the U23 ace will sign for the club where his father, Michael, acts as team doctor but it is unlikely Morris will sign a pro deal before next year.
