Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Josh Ward was delighted to see action against Chelsea.

It was a first appearance with the Sounders for Ford.

"It went pretty well -- I mean no goals scored in the second half. I felt really calm. I just wanted to go out there and play my game and show what I had. I was really comfortable with what I was going to do. They gave me the nod at half and I say, 'All right. Let's go,' just be confident and show why I'm here," he told the Seattle Times.
