Seattle Sounders forward Nate Jaqua has been placed on injured reserve because of a pubic symphysis injury.

The 28-year old is expected to miss up to six weeks with the complicated problem with a return date of May 2 proposed.

The former Chicago Fire and Houston Dynamo star was a key contributor for the Sounders in their debut MLS season, netting on nine occasions and providing seven assists in his 28 league appearances.
