Leicester City striker Tom Hopper's season could be over.
Hopper has returned from his loan spell at Scunthorpe and is likely to miss the remainder of the season after surgery on a broken toe, reports the Leicester Mercury.
The 21-year-old picked up the injury, as well as scoring two goals, in the 4-1 victory at Leyton Orient in January.
Hopper played in the subsequent games, while carrying the injury, but has been unable to recover fully and will now need an operation.
