Sean Moore enjoying first season with West Ham

Republic of Ireland U19 winger Sean Moore has enjoyed his first season with West Ham.

Moore arrived last year from Cliftonville.

A regular with West Ham U21s, Moore told the club's website: "I think I needed this run of starts, so I am really happy to have started the last few games.

"It has been a good run of games as well for the U21s. Yes, we lost against PSV [in the Premier League International Cup semi-finals], which we were disappointed about, but there have been a good couple of wins around that match against Derby, Brighton and Norwich.

"Wing-back is a good position and I have played there before for Cliftonville.

"It is something I am used to and it's a position I am playing in a bit more for West Ham because of the injuries we have to players in the squad at the moment.

"I have been loving it at West Ham and moving here has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, to be honest!

"Coming here, meeting this group of lads and the coaches, it's been great for me and my game. I have settled in really well and now it has been good to get a nice run of matches under my belt too!"
