Scunthorpe United midfielder Michael O'Connor is being linked with a summer move to Scottish giants Celtic.
The 23-year old Northern Ireland international has had a stellar season for The Iron, scoring eight goals and providing four assists from 24 starts.
With Scunthorpe set to play League One football next season, O'Connor would be best suited to either a rival Championship club or the Scottish Premier League and the Hoops are believed to be showing some interest.
O'Connor is Scunthorpe's biggest asset and it would be detrimental to his career to go down with the North Lincolnshire club when he is clearly of higher standard.
He has come on in leaps and bounds since his days at Crewe Alexandra and his loan at Lincoln City and would fit in well with Neil Lennon's current midfield setup.
He is also attracting interest from the likes of Hull City and Swansea City.
