League OneScunthorpe United has confirmed Mark Robins as their new boss on a three-year contract. Iron chairman Peter Swann told BBC Radio Humberside Robins would be taking over at the League One strugglers this week last Friday.
"First and foremost I am delighted to be here, I was very encouraged by what I saw on Saturday," Robins said.
"The opportunity was too good to turn down because there are exciting times coming here.
"I want everyone to enjoy what we are doing and excite the supporters.
"You have to work hard and have the players buy in to what you are doing."
