Paulo Roberto da Costa Regula is ready to leave Portugal and has been linked with many clubs like Fulham, and most recently, Cagliari and Nottingham Forest, according to Jornal A Bola.

The Portuguese midfielder has displayed reasonable potential, having played for Sporting CP's youth team, and clubs such as Vitória de Setúbal, Olhanense, and is currently on loan at Naval.

He has what could be called the "perfect profile" for a centre midfielder: from the physical side, 1,84cm height and 71kg weight, and from the football side, he shows assurance in his passing, has a strong mid-range shot, tactical knowledge and good vision.

Perhaps, in a more physical league, he could become a ball-winning midfielder.

Regula almost signed for Catania, in Italy, after being free from his contract in 2011; and also with Sheffield Wednesday this year.

He continues to show good promise having played six official games and having scored three goals.
