Manchester United's Scottish coaching pair Darren Fletcher and Paul Brand have reminded Mitchell van der Gaag of his time in the Scottish Premiership.

United assistant coach Van der Gaag spent two years with Motherwell and graced the Scottish Premiership Panini album a couple of times.

And Fletcher asked fellow Scot and United analyst Paul Brand to dig out an image of their new colleague.

Even though Van der Gaag's Panini image comes up on Google, Brand asked his mother to dust off his album and send him an image, reports the Manchester Evening News.

And this was presented to Van der Gaag - much to his surprise.
