Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon is expecting a financial windfall from next month's all-Edinburgh Scottish Cup final.
Hibs meet Heart of Midlothian at Glasgow's Hampden Park on May 19 and apart from the prestige of playing in a cup final of this magnitude, Fenlon is also looking for a bit of a monetary boost for the club who are in need of some vital funds.
"But getting to the Scottish Cup Final and with it being against Hearts and everything that goes with that, it should hopefully help us a little bit financially.
"Obviously we have to be prudent in what we do but we want to be able to develop the squad and make sure we hang on to the players we want to keep.
"We want to develop it through the short-term plan and the longer-term plan.""Behind the scenes we know it's going to be tight," Fenlon said.
