Scott McTominay has signed a new contract with Manchester United to 2025.

The agreement includes the option for a further 12 months.

McTominay remarked: "I understand that there are so many other things to talk about and think about right now, but I'm so happy to sign this contract and play a role on this team in the future.

"All I have known is United and I hope my passion for the club shows up every time I pull my shirt on.

"I would like to thank the manager (Ole Gunnar Solskjær) for the confidence he has shown me and to thank everyone in the club who has helped me to where I am today. I look forward to finishing this season well and hopefully achieving our goals."
