New signing Scott Allan is confident of settling quickly at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Dundee United starlet is hoping to prove he's not a big fish in a little pond by succeeding at The Hawthorns.
"When I was younger I watched Gazza and that's when I started going to football games.
"I'm not comparing myself to him at all - I just liked watching the way he played football.
"I know it's a big step (from the SPL) but I think a lot of people under-estimate the standard of play in Scotland.
"There are good players there if they are given the chance to show what they can do. I'm just lucky I'm one of those who has been given a chance. Hopefully I can show that here. All the boys have been brilliant with me since I've arrived, especially the boys around the same age as me.
