Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is delighted to have reached the 40-points barrier.
Schwarzer admitted his relief at seeing Fulham reach the 40-point mark with a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa on Saturday, but he urged caution as the Whites go into the final half-a-dozen games of the season.
"The last couple of weeks we've been sitting on 39 points and people have been saying that we're safe," he explained to fulhamfc.com. "But we knew that, mathematically, we weren't safe, and we're still not mathematically safe so it's always positive, from a psychological point of view, to get to 40 points, and we'll kick on from there.
"As far as I'm concerned, and with what experience tells you, you're never out of relegation trouble until you're mathematically safe, and that's still the case with us."
