Bernd Schuster has urged Raul to leave Real Madrid and enjoy his final years as a player elsewhere. The former Real coach says Raul deserves better than to wind down his playing years as a supersub.

"He wouldn't lose much credit if he left and played elsewhere," said Schuster. "He would enjoy himself playing more.

"If he found the right club, he would be happy playing regularly and the fans would again remember how great a player he is.

"But everyone must make their own choices."
