Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster wasn't fully satisfied after their 1-0 Champions League win at BATE Borisov.
An early goal from Raul proved the winner and Schuster conceded he was "nervous" as they failed to score a second.
"It was a type of game similar to that of Almeria, we had to find a second goal," said Schuster. "We were concerned because that then makes us suffer so much unnecessarily.
"Sergio Ramos and Pepe have played at a high level and Miguel Torres has worked with a lot of effort (in defence)."
Schuster added: "The game against Recre was not spectacular, but effective. We kept a clean sheet and created chances. Today (yesterday) we have again scored and did not suffer so much in defence.
"We also moved the ball faster."
