Kasper Schmeichel is returning to Manchester City.

City boss Sven Goran Eriksson confirmed Schmeichel will return from a loan spell at Cardiff on January 2, while the future of Ched Evans, who Norwich want to extend a loan until the end of the season, will be discussed at a later date.
