Leicester City have made new and improved contract offers to a pair of key players.
The Telegraph claims that the Premier League-winning Foxes have offered goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and midfielder Danny Drinkwater new deals in a bid to keep them at the club.
It is understood that the duo are contemplating the new deals which will land them both around £80,000 per week.
Having lost N'Golo Kante to Chelsea, Claudio Ranieri is determined to keep the rest of his England conquering squad together and sees Schmeichel and Drinkwater as two players how must stay at King Power Stadium.
Denmark international Schmeichel, 29, has emerged on Everton's radar in recent weeks but Leicester have no plans to let him leave the East Midlands while more than doubling 26-year-old Drinkwater's salary.
