Kasper Schmeichel says it is a brilliant feeling that Leicester City are currently experiencing.
The Foxes are surprisingly sitting at the summit of the Premier League table after 17 matches having held up all other 19 teams at this point last season.
Their rise has not escaped the media frenzy, which Schmeichel acknowledges, but the goalkeeper insists the dressing room has experienced this before when they sat aloft the Championship two seasons ago.
"It feels good to be where we are," he said.
"Being top of the table is something we've tried before in the Championship and it's not that different although the attention from the outside world is obviously a little bit higher now because it's the Premier League.
"It's the same sort of feeling in the dressing room at the moment."
And Schmeichel added that Leicester simply have to remain consistent in order to stay in their current lofty environment.
"It's very important to maintain momentum but if you take 2015 as a calendar year, we've been consistently very good so for us it's just a case of keep doing what we're doing," he added.
