Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar admits he wants to extend his stay.

Speaking with Blick, the Switzerland defender sees his future with the high-flying Magpies.

Schar said, “Newcastle is my second home. Team, coach, club – I feel very comfortable. I really enjoy it and I hope that this journey continues."

The defender admits he enjoys playing for manager Eddie Howe.

“You can take something out every day. He has a very good feeling for what every player needs individually," Schar added.
