Schalke winger Holtby big fan of Arsenal kid Wilshere

Schalke winger Lewis Holtby admits he's a big fan of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Holtby may have to wait for the return match in Germany on November 6 to face the 20-year-old, who was an unused substitute against Norwich on Saturday as he continues his return from more than a year out with ankle and knee injuries.

"I would be happy if he played [on Wednesday] - it would be a great challenge for me," Holtby revealed to the London Evening Standard. "I love testing myself against these players and I feel blessed if the best are playing.

"He's an outstanding player, a modern midfielder. He's very good on the ball, a neat passer and when I've watched him play he's been so mature. I hope Arsenal have their strongest line-up and I have to be confident, trust the things that helped me get to where I am now."
