Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic has an appearances trigger in his deal with Schalke to make it permanent.
The Daily Star Sunday says Nastasic's loan move to Schalke will become permanent once he makes seven appearances for the German club.
Schalke have paid a £2million loan fee up front, with a further £7.5m to follow.
The defender signed for the Germans last week.
