Big spending Schalke 04 could rescue Manchester City flop Robinho from the scrapheap.
Kicker says after signing Real Madrid legend Raul, Schalke have put out feelers for Robinho, who is returning to City from his loan at Santos.
Robinho faces being left off City's 25-man Premier League list and out of football for six months if he cannot find a new club.
Schalke have the spending power to cover Robinho's wages in a loan deal through to January.
