Schalke chief Horst Heldt has welcomed interest from Aston Villa for Anthony Annan.
The Ghana international is being linked with a move to Villa.
And Heldt said: "That would be a good option. I hope we can talk immediately."
Schalke are eager to find a buyer for Annan.
