SC Cambuur have snapped up Manchester City attacker Sinan Bytyqi.

The Manchester Evening News says Bytyqi has penned a new deal with the club and will now join Dutch top flight club SC Cambuur until June 30.

The 18-year-old Austrian, a regular for Patrick Vieira's EDS side, will follow in the footsteps of Albert Rusnak, who had an impressive spell at Cambuur.

Rusnak went on to sign for Groningen, but City are hopeful that forward Bytyqi can force his way into the first-team reckoning at the Etihad Stadium. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with City.
