Former Leicester City star Robbie Savage can understand Rafa Benitez's rant against Chelsea fans.
Savage wrote in the Mirror: "Look at other clubs where the supporters have had misgivings about a manager and you will see a different attitude from the poison which filtered into the stands as soon as Benitez walked through the door.
"Earlier this season, we had Tottenham fans calling Six-O-Six to demand the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas and for Spurs to bring back Harry Redknapp. But look at them now. Tottenham stood by AVB and he could lead them into the Champions League at Chelsea's expense.
"Alan Pardew was not a popular choice at Newcastle after Chris Hughton's sacking, but they gave him a chance and he took them into Europe.
"Even Avram Grant, who took over from Jose Mourinho, won round Chelsea fans by guiding them to a Champions League final.
"When you support a club, I thought the idea was to stick with them and show your support for the team through thick and thin.
"Owners, managers and players may come and go, but the one constant presence at any football club is its fan base. Surely it is never going to help your manager, whoever he is, bring good results if he is sending out his team to play in such a bad atmosphere?
"I don't think Benitez has done himself justice in the last three months at Stamford Bridge, but I'm sure he will get another top job.
"He won nine trophies, including two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Liverpool. He is nobody's fool, but fan power has claimed its pound of flesh in the end."
