Sarvas expecting tardy Colorado Rapids to come good soon

Marcelo Sarvas believes the Colorado Rapids will quickly achieve the results they so eagerly yearn for.

The Brazilian midfielder joined the Rapids from LA Galaxy in the off-season and with him came massive expectations after being an integral part of the MLS Cup-winning team of 2014.

Sarvas' arrival in Denver has seen Pablo Mastroeni's side begin the 2015 campaign with three draws and a loss - and no goals - but the 33-year old is confident things will turn soon.

"My spirits are good," Sarvas said.

"It's hard for people to judge just by game days. If people followed every day how we are working, they'd see us at our best.

"Of course, with soccer it's all about results, goals and getting three points. But if we keep working like we have, the results will come."

The Rapids next take on the Western Conference's second-placed FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium on Friday night.
