Manchester United have failed with a fresh bid for Sao Paulo star Lucas.
Sao Paulo have rejected an offer in the region of £25million from the Reds for midfielder Lucas, according to Estadao.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson must now decide whether to return with an improve bid.
