Santos have attempted to reopen talks with AC Milan for Robinho.

Sportitalia says the Brazilians have made a new approach to Milan about a deal before Thursday's transfer deadline.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was in Brazil over the New Year attempting to broker an agreement, but the two clubs could not find common ground.

Santos are now trying again to bring Robinho back home as the winter market winds down.
