Santos are pressing Manchester City to extend the loan for Robinho.
Globoesporte says Santos want to secure Robinho to a new temporary deal, with the current agreement due to expire on August 4.
Robinho has already declared his priority is to remain with Santos, while City are attempting to find a buyer in Europe for the Brazilian.
Santos will hold talks next week with City about a new loan deal.
