Santos have made a sensational move for Everton striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Cameroon icon is currently in Milan to finalise his transfer to Sampdoria.

The Daily Mail says Santos made a late move to sign Eto'o on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian club offered five-million euros (£3.8m) over two seasons for the 33-year-old.

But, despite the lure of joining such a famous club, he is keen on a return to Italy.
