Inter Milan fullback Davide Santon has backed their pursuit of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure. Inter boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed his interest in the Ivory Coast international.

Former Newcastle United fullback Santon stated: "I've played against him and when they won the championship, he scored twice at St. James' Park.

"He's very strong, he is fantastic.

"He has power, quality and is one who can decide games by himself."
