Sydney FC striker Brendon Santalab looks likely to miss up to eight weeks after injuring his shoulder on the weekend. Santalab requires surgery on the shoulder that he hurt against the Melbourne Victory which is a blow to Sydney taking into account the 26-year olds recent good form. "The cartilage around his shoulder has been bruised, so he needs it repaired and he'll go for surgery on Wednesday," Sydney coach John Kosmina told the Herald yesterday. "He showed a lot of form and how devastating he could be on the weekend, but that's the way it goes. It's just one of those silly injuries - he fell badly."
