Former Valencia coach Quique Sanchez Flores says David Silva will prove a big hit at Lazio.

A move for the Manchester City veteran is still being discussed by Lazio directors.

But Sanchez Flores has no doubts Silva will be a big success in Italy, even at 34, telling TMW: "I have no doubt about this. David has always had a good physique, he is a player who boasts a great athletic condition and excellent muscle tone. Moreover, in his role he certainly does not live on intensity, but rather on intelligence.

"Specifically I would see him well both with and without Luis Alberto, maybe both behind the striker (Ciro) Immobile. I am convinced that with David behind him Ciro could score even more this year (39 total goals)."
