San Jose Earthquakes have partnered with engagement platform FanKave, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The deal will see the messaging-based platform provide an interactive community for the Earthquake's fans to access content, real-time social media feeds and have exclusive interaction with the team's players and coaches in and around Avaya Stadium.

The #Quakes74 FanKave platform will initially be available to fans on the free FanKave mobile app, and will also soon be made accessible from the official Quakes website.

Earthquakes president Dave Kaval said: "The San Jose Earthquakes have strived to become one of the most technologically advanced sports organisations.

"The partnership with FanKave is another leap forward for the club in its efforts to provide fans with a wealth of social media interaction, both with the team and with each other."

Raja Gopal, the co-founder of FanKave, added: "By creating a digital hub for fans to connect and engage, we are enabling teams to build true fan communities."
