Dan Gargan took to Twitter to poke a little fun at some Seattle Sounders players on the weekend.
The 30-year old San Jose Earthquakes defender helped his club record a 1-0 victory over the Sounders on Saturday and was delighted with the way fellow backman Victor Bernardez performed against Seattle striker Eddie Johnson.
I wonder if Victor made it home safely last night with Eddie stuck in his back pocket. #thoughtsonasundaymorning — Daniel Gargan (@RealDanGargan) July 14, 2013
A day later, the former Toronto FC and Chicago Fire man Gargan, who is a native of Philadelphia, also explained his views as to why Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso was shown a red card in injury time.
For those asking about Alonso... I told him that a Cuban sandwich could never touch a proper Philly Cheesesteak. He got upset. — Daniel Gargan (@RealDanGargan) July 15, 2013
