It is being reported that West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Sampdoria midfield player Pedro Obiang. The Hammers have offered around £5 million for the 23 year old who has two Under-21 caps for Spain.

Sampdoria are said to want £7 million for Obiang but expect a deal to be sealed in the close season.
