Sampdoria coach Walter Mazzarri was happy to see new signing Giampaolo Pazzini get on the scoresheet in their Coppa Italia victory over Udinese.
Samp needed penalties to reach the Coppa semis, but Mazzarri was happy to see former Firoentina striker Pazzini get off the mark for his new club.
"Pazzini is a great investment," he declared. "Scoring will surely help him mentally."
